The wonders of Cambodia

Steadily growing into one of the region’s shining stars, Phnom Penh leaves you wanting for nothing. The food scene and café culture demands to be explored, but it’s the history here that stands out. Take a rickshaw to the monuments of Silver Pagoda, The Royal Palace and the art gallery of Phare Ngo. The day ends with visits to the Tuol Sleng genocide museum and the killing field Choeung Ek Museum.

After a day at leisure, day two here sees a visit the Great City of Angkor Thom including the stunning Bayon Temple and the ancient masterpiece of Angkor Wat itself. The following day, visit the mysterious Ta Prohm Temple before a champagne sunset cruise on Tonle Sap Lake.

Return to Siem Reap Airport for a short flight to Sihanoukville. A private car and a speedboat transfer later and the shores of Song Saa Private Island are in sight; the place where the last five days of the trip are spent to indulge in the tranquillity of the lush surrounds.
