ADVANCED SKIERS - APRES-SKI

Elegant and exuberant, Verbier combines scintillating skiing with inimitable Swiss hospitality making it the perfect destination for your next luxury ski holiday.

The cosmopolitan village of Verbier is well attested for its vivacious après-ski and exciting mountain terrain. A lively alpine village with attractive chalet style buildings mingle with innovative gourmet restaurants, lively night spots and contemporary cocktail bars. At the foot of the main Médran gondola, the glamorous hub of the Place Blanche complex is a haven of luxury ski chalets, 5 star hotels, designer boutiques and deluxe après-ski bars.

Brave the resort’s ten kilometre toboggan run, try dog sledding, paragliding or join one of the fun evening piste basher rides. Slope-side après-ski continues into the early hours down in Verbier's legendary bars and night clubs with the party atmosphere peaking for the resort's renowned New Year's Eve fireworks.

The skiing

Set in Switzerland’s largest ski region, the acclaimed Four Valleys, Verbier offers extensive and varied skiing; and some of the best lift-served off-piste in the Alps. Over 400 kilometres of superb terrain provide endless challenges for all abilities. Experts will love the snow-sure Mont Fort glacier, steep black mogul fields and superb off-piste, whilst intermediates will enjoy the gentle area of Savoleyres and the red runs around Les Attelas and Les Ruinettes. The high altitude of the ski area means Verbier snow conditions are excellent throughout the season with an abundance of snow. Daredevil skiers take the cable car to the summit of the renowned Mont Fort, where the altitude is 3330m - the highest point in the ski resort. Admire the breathtaking view before skiing one of the most challenging black runs in the Alps.
