Perched on the crater’s edge, this architecturally splendid lodge is inspired by traditional Masai manyatta, fused with elegant French baroque – a striking combination.

Spread over three camps, the butler-serviced suites brim with antiques, teak panelling and beaded chandeliers, the picture windows providing breath-taking views of the crater below. Full day game drives start with a scenic drive through a lush highland forest, to the floor of the crater where more than 25,000 animals permanently reside, among them wildebeest, large prides of lion and endangered black rhino.
For an additional cost, guests can participate in a Hadzabe Bushmen Experience, be serenaded by local African drummers on the lawn or enjoy a banquet on the crater floor.
