Located across Khao Sok National Park, the resort comprises two of Thailand’s first ever Tented Jungle Camps, each showcasing the best aspects of the country’s natural landscape. Set within the luscious landscapes of Khao Sok National Park, home of the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, the camps of Elephant Hills are truly something to behold. Alongside vast jungles, voluminous limestone formations and rare species of frondescence and wild animals, guests can spend time with Asian elephants at the sanctuary – watching them bathe, feed and play.

The two camps, Elephant Camp and Rainforest Camp, each feature the latest in luxury safari accommodation, combining traditional camping experiences with hotel-like amenities. Elephant Camp can be found next to the Sok River on the national park’s rainforest border. With a total of 66 simple tents, each is home to locally crafted furniture – hand-made using natural materials by the camp’s own craftsman – as well as en-suite bathrooms and fixed beds. Rainforest Camp is a unique floating camp located in the centre of Khao Sok’s Cheow Larn Lake, surrounded by vibrant rainforest and limestone mountains. One of the only floating camps in the world, it is built to have minimal impact on the environment, with its ecological ethos extending to its 20 tents whose power is solely provided by solar and wind energy.
