Barbados

A romantic hideaway nestled amongst swaying palms and vibrant tropical gardens, Fairmont Royal Pavilion is ideal for couples seeking a quiet yet sophisticated sanctuary.

The feeling at this luxury retreat is one of being a privileged guest in a private home, where colonial charm blends seamlessly with the modern comforts expected of an exclusive resort. The real draw here is the accommodation – the hotel is one of few in Barbados with rooms offering direct beach access. Step straight from your Beachfront Suite onto the sand for a sunrise swim in front of your terrace, or enjoy uninterrupted sea views from the glass-fronted balcony of your Luxury or Signature Oceanfront Room.

An exclusive stand-alone villa set within the gardens and a short distance from the beach also offers a one, two or three-bedroom option. All take service levels one step higher with a VIP airport greeting with the suites and Villa also including a luxury transfer, butler service, an afternoon Tea and evening canapés. Enchanting beachfront dining at two restaurants and regular evening entertainment is presented by local artists.  Breakfast takes place in the Palm Terrace Restaurant, and the Beach Club is an alternative for lunch. Relaxing days on the golden sand beach are enlivened by sets of tennis on floodlit courts, a few laps of the large freshwater pool, complimentary non-motorised watersports in the warm Caribbean Sea or, at certain times of the year, a daily swim with turtles from the shore.

Indulgent Afternoon Tea at Taboras Restaurant

If you enjoy the British tradition of Afternoon Tea, then make sure you head to Taboras Restaurant to enjoy an elegant selection of baked scones with jam, butter and cream, cakes, biscuits and pastries; all washed down with a refreshing pot of the finest English tea. We recommend the Darjeeling.

Unwind with a private spa treatment

For uninterrupted bliss, indulge in a private spa treatment in the comfort of your own guestroom. A number of reenergising and relaxing treatments are available for your pleasure, including aromatherapy sessions, soothing body massages, skin care holistic treatments and energy balancing with crystals. Continue the pampering at the prestigious Sass Beauty Salon, where you can make the most of the professional makeup, hairdressing and manicure services.

Complimentary tennis

Surrounded by lush vegetation, the tennis courts at The Fairmont Royal Pavilion are open for all guests from morning to night, on a complimentary basis. Play with family and friends at a leisurely pace or take advantage of dedicated tennis lessons with the hotel’s tennis professional. Please note that reservations are required.
