Jump into the upbeat ambience of Providenciales that welcomes with its beach bars, cool cafes and powdery sand that stretches for miles; cast off for Middle Caicos to explore the dramatic limestone caves at Conch Bar and kayak the labyrinth of mangrove channels that thread the islands; or just hole up on a private island where forget-the-world seclusion is key.

Being surrounded by a big blue playground means water-faring fun is inevitable, but it’s beneath the glassy surface where the beauty truly takes hold. Dangling on the edge of a submerged limestone plateau, the underwater world is a diverse ecosystem of kaleidoscopic brilliance. Stingrays, sharks, turtles and dolphins all feature on the playbill, with stages in the north edges being more rugged and grooved in nature, whereas the south sees the ocean floor plumet into vertical walls teeming with marine life.
