Embracing refinement at their latest snow-sure destination, the Capezzone family’s tell-tale Himalayan style has taken an exclusive twist; branching out from sister hotels in Courchevel, Le K2 Chogori hosts the only Peruvian restaurant within Val d’Isère.
The Capezzones share more in common with Le K2 Chogori than just its warm hospitality. Having tied the knot in Val d’Isère’s Old Town a stone’s throw away, they also share a part of their own history. The hotel’s fairy-tale setting is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to its character, though. ‘Boutique’ is the buzzword here, not only when it comes to the hotel’s size, but the exclusive feeling that encompasses a stay here.
K2’s signature Himalayan style flows throughout Chogori. Tibetan art features contrast local photography; a cultural melting-pot adorning the walls. Artistic diversity is not lost when it comes to food, either. Le K2 Chogori is home to Val d’Isère’s only Peruvian fusion restaurant, L’Altiplano. Paying tribute to one of the most inventive cuisines in South America, diners are transported from the Alps to the Andes with sumptuous cuisine, bursting with flavour.
